One of the major problems with Disney Doctor is that the character is written too human in my opinion. He said “oh my gosh” quite too often for a non-Catholic alien.
The real question is which would be the real “invocation of a superstition”? Saying “oh my god”, as a direct invocation, or “oh my gosh”, as an indirect yet doubled invocation, with the implication that the word “god” is too sacred to exclaim?
