Reminder that his reaction to 9/11 was to brag that it made one of his buildings the tallest in the neighborhood. And disgusting as that was, the brag wasn’t even true, there were still several taller buildings nearby
What an absolute cretin
And it wasn’t even like a couple weeks later or anything, interview was literally the same day in the afternoon.
The people from Crete are wonderful people, it sure is sad to compare them to such a vile person
You’re probably just making a joke, but that’s not the etymology of “cretin”.
Cretin became a medical term for Congenital iodine deficiency syndrome in the 18th century, from an Occitan and an Alpine French expression, prevalent in a region where persons with such a condition were especially common.
Man, it would be so awkward to need to both memorialize the victims of 9/11 and to celebrate his death on the same day. Whatever day he dies should be a national holiday.
Not quite the same dynamic but reminds me of 4/20 with weed and Hitler
right… national…
Or probably that:
(10th Kingdom series opening intro where Manhatan’s buildings become castles, nature spreads and fantasy creatures walk free through that)
Wish I saw that intro when it was new, it looks a bit dated now but it would have blown my mind back then
Only if our selfless Luigis d’jour can no-scope Shitler’s prolapsed milk-ring onto the GW spire
(cue Skeeven Miller, swaddled in The Constitution, slo-mo leaping the gap to cradle his Furdur’s exit candy mid-flight)
— if the prophecies are worth anything at all, these days
This post melted brain faster than a Steam server trying to run Silksong checkouts
Keep up!
I know it has been 24 years but it is still too soon for me to like 9/11 jokes.
Worked in NYC at the time and had to keep going back after the towers fell.
I’m sorry you had to go through that, I wouldn’t wish it on anybody
My dad was in midtown that day, said his most vivid recollection was seeing fighter jets flying over 5th ave. I just feel lucky he was ok, I know of too many people from my community that can’t say the same.
For me, I can laugh at a stupid joke, but I definitely don’t make any around here in NJ for that reason.
My coworker’s brother worked in a restaurant near the top floor of one of the towers. He unsuccessfully tried to contact his brother all day.
I likewise have some wounds that are too raw to joke about, probably ever again if I’m honest.
