Its almost like disappearing the South Koreans that were here legally out of their GA plant in hopes to get more American manufacturing jobs was a bad idea.

Nah, I’m sure we will get plenty more foreign investment for new factories.

Most of them were on B-1 visas that prohibit work, allegedly. And no one was charged. Hyundai flew them all home.

What anyone thinks doesn’t matter. It is a prosecutor’s responsibility to prove it in court.

My grandfather was a state trooper for thirty years. The only advice he ever gave me was, “It’s not illegal until you’re convicted.”

And the US is also in the process of losing a shitload of high-performing scientists and engineers, because they’re not amused by or optimistic about the trajectory of the country. That’s called brain drain. Ask Russia how that’s going for them.

I wanted to be an engineer after watching how its made religiously. I wanted to make everything. Turns out the only way to make money making things in the US is if they’re intended to kill people.

Yeah. Within the past year, I’ve been employed at 3 different manufacturing jobs in 3 different industries that told me to get lost because they didn’t have the sales to afford to pay their employees.
