You should go read my comment again, because you completely missed the point.
You’re advocating for trying to appeal to republicans. That’s what the party does. It’s how they keep losing.
I’m advocating for appealing to their most base desire, which is bullshit identity stuff. A sadly large amount of people would vote for a white man just because it’s a white man. The policies themselves could be pretty progressive.
From the people who seriously expected you to buy “biden is the most progressive president since FDR” and “I’m a progressive who gets things done.”
Maybe if the party would quit trying to pass off centrism as progressive, I’d buy that.
