my new employer has me going from convention to convention hosted by the likes of dell, microsoft, redhat, ibm, hpe, etc and the sole common theme for all of them is their push for everyone to switch to AI.

my manager and i had a talk during lunch at the latest one of these conventions and he was so skeptical that this was happening that he made fun of me for bringing it up as a topic of conversation and i suspect his attitude is typical of al westerners.
