    I’ll give them full points just for not putting it immediately in front of the door preventing it from being opened, despite the doormat request.

      Lol I think you just described most malicious compliance posts. Just people throwing logic out the window while making demands, just to be swatted down by their own hubris.

    I genuinely don’t understand this request, is there any size of parcel that is not just an envelope that won’t look super obvious under a door mat? Unless you have a cellar door under the mat or something, it makes no sense.

      I bet if you ordered a door mat.

      (Or a book of stamps, or a comic book, or pet medication, or a set of screws, or a small electronic device, or hair pins, or printer ink, or a million other things I could name that would fit in a small package that could be placed under a door mat
