“I made a rule breaking comment, and it got removed! Surely this can only mean that an evil foreign government is out to get me!”

I have no idea what rule I could have possibly broken. Not allowed to mention North korea?

Okay there are only two rules in this community, “no excessive reposting” which I’m definitely not guilty of, and “be nice and civil.” What about my comment was not nice and civil? Stating an objective fact about North korea, as obvious as stating there are often clouds in the sky?

If my comments were removed because they think it wasn’t nice & civil, then NK definitely has its hands in this community.

It was the chauvanism in your comment. People in the DPRK have access to smartphones, intranet, trains, even a gaming cafe in Pyongyang as of late. This is just nakedly the same way Europeans spoke of Africans at the height of the colonial era. Your insistence that the DPRK has a hand in moderating this community because your racist comment was removed just doubled down on it.

Oh that’s good to know North Korea is allowed to participate in the modern world now. Last time I heard, government officials were making sure citizens didn’t even have hidden SD cards and anyone found with any technology or media whatsoever were put into prison labor camps and their families too.

“Objective fact”[1]. Also there are site wide (lemmy.ml) rules, which I assume is the one you are in violation of:

[rule 1] No bigotry - including racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, or xenophobia. Code of Conduct.
