As I have said before, I have been gifted Framework 12 LT (13th Gen. Intel Core), but I hate tablet sized screens. Is there any way to get Framework working on a LT sized Screen?
My last Dell Screen/monitor was 15” Length X 9” Width, that for me is a normal LT sized Screen/monitor.
Is my only option to return & spend extra amount money to upgrade to a bigger screened Framework LT? That case I do not have that sort of money, guess just keep the ridiculous tablet sized screens.
I do not understand why if Framework ships to my location or not matters (to finding a way to have a bigger than tablet sized screen/monitor), but yes, all major shipping companies will deliver to my home.
Can you give is a lot more info.Such as is it a framework 13? 12? 16?Are you located in an area that framework ships to?What do you consider a normal sized screen? What do you consider a laptop sized screen? Can you try to avoid shorthand to help people understand what you’re talking about? You can just sell it and get something you actually want. Retrofitting a gift seems more work than it’s worth.Since OP wanted to focus their responses to defending their strange short hand acronyms over actually providing us information. I’m out. Not worth my time.
Good luck in whatever you decide.
I was finishing something before I went back to the room to get the computer information, which just now, I was going to post a reply to you.
LT?
I think LT = laptop
With all due respect, Really? Is this a joke or just post to clutter? Almost everyone knows that means L.ap T.op? No disrespect
I eventully figured it out, but I have never heard anyone use that before.
Me neither.
Wow, okay, I guess it is possible; been around since Lap Tops been around.
But laptop is usually one word. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it as lap top.
Thanks for that correction, you are right it is L.apT.op.
Some acronyms are regional. Maybe it’s very common where you live, but uncommon elsewhere
Some other things I considered
- Lite
- Long Term (like LTS)
- some limited edition model I wasn’t familiar with
I would have asked to clarify as well
It is USA English widely known, not regional, within the USA English.
No it isn’t, it’s neither on wiktionary nor on UrbanDicitonary (and yes I’ve scrolled through 14 pages of stupid jokes for that), which means it’s not in common usage at all, likely anywhere.
I think I’ve seen it on forums and stuff when I was a younging, but that was a long time ago and that time is gone. Get with the times, you are asking for help, it is your job to be understood.
Lots of words and expressions are regional, even within the same country. I would guess that LT for laptop is one of them.
American who grew up presumably with USA English and computers, never heard of it.

If the screen is too small, I think your only options are returning it and getting a bigger laptop or just sticking with that and using a dock with a monitor
There are portable external monitors that you can use, but nothing as elegant as a single unit laptop
Interesting I never heard of that.
I know it would work is displaying it through a TV screen, biggest & best screen, through HDMI cord plugged into the TV. & Another two-options I been thinking about it projection LT screen. Not sure how it works, but hearing about it before.
