A lot of people here are yelling about physical violence in retaliation. It’s nonsense. First off, nobody in this world is scared of anyone on the left. We’ve all seen what the left is built like during protests. So it’s silly seeing people like ‘only good pig is a dead pig’. Everybody sees that and reads it in that squeaky voice like in the video.
The best retaliation is to hit them where it hurts. Start saying this like ‘police budgets need to be cut if they’re no longer protecting people’ jitsu these things. If police want to defend ICE and DHS and people on Minnesota can’t do anything about the federal police. Then the only solution is to hit the Minnesota police where they can which is right in they fucking budget. That’s what is terrifying. A voting population coming together to cut your funding.

We tried that. We had a whole national protest movement, it lasted a year, millions of people were in the streets with the explicit goal of lowering police budgets.
Despite all of that effort, no police budget was defunded. Most police budgets have continued to increase. ICE funding has drastically increased.
So what’s your plan to do something different? From where I’m sitting, the “let’s kill cops” camp is more realistic than the “let’s try the George Floyd protests again, maybe politicians will listen to us this time” camp.

It wasn’t, it made moves. The problem was that the left are just not smart about these things so they failed. The left have an issue where they have no idea how to apply consistent pressure. They’re just not smart. They are resting their laurels on the studies that say leftist are more educated and assuming it means them.
Because taking to the streets doesn’t do anything. That’s where you lose any momentum. It happens every time. You need to win people over to your position. Violence is not the lefts area. The support isn’t there. Not like it is needed to be. I can ask people moral questions and they’ll answer morally. But that is different than engaging them. The left fails to engage. They try to win things through morality rather than engaging.
Compare trans bathroom issue to killing of Renee. Trans bathroom issue will get a lot of people to vote and impact their beliefs. Killing it Renee won’t. Not unless you put out and do the same thing that they did with an issue like trans. It’s not just about informing people it’s happening. It’s about making this issue about them and a threat to their lives as well. The left fails at that every time. They just want to hear that people agree it’s bad. That’s enough for them to move on. I guarantee next week they’ll all have moved on.

Nobody wants to be the one to kick off a Civil War, but once it starts, and all government systems break down, TV broadcasts start going off the air, phones get sketchy, jobs start closing down, money stops flowing, and food gets scarce, we will spontaneously flip to a Robin Hood Economy, and you’ll see just how dangerous the Left can be.
If stores don’t have food, or people don’t have money to buy it, they’ll just take it, and after that, they go to the rich neighborhoods, and loot them next. Then we’ll see if anyone fears the Left.

It’s kind of my point about control online narrative vs protesting. What’s the sense of protesting if you can’t even muster a defense of your opinions online. Protests are extremely high effort and energy requiring tasks which are extremely hard to be successful. Posting online is much easier to create awareness. But the left failed to control online spaces but jumped to telling everyone to protest while mocking anyone saying they should focus on digital spaces.
The left is struggling to get any wins. Trying to succeed in a collapsed society field with opposing groups who lived their entire lives dreaming of that scenario is not going to go well.
