        The price has not increased due to the new things your subscription now includes. You are paying no more money than you did when you were only paying for email, if you’ve used Proton for that long. You are still paying the same price and only using email.

        Your gym adds some new basketball courts and doesn’t change the membership price. You don’t play basketball, so you complain and tell the gym they should lower your membership price?

        Your favorite deli likes you so much that they start giving you two sandwiches every time you order one, and you think that since they can offer you this you should be given the option to pay less for a single sandwich?

        Depressing mindset.

          Weird logic. They’re “giving” me stuff I don’t want for my money. Sure. They’re also spending all their time adding and maintaining things that are NOT what I’m here for. That means “mail” is suffering.

          I signed up with Mail+Calendar.

          Every following product was unwanted and went un-used. It seems to me their intention is to neglect mail and shovel-ware from here on out.

          If I’m the asshole here that’s fine. I’m just looking to understand why.

            As the other guy said, I don’t complain about my gym prices when they add some rowing machines, even though I never use the rowing machines.

            What do you feel they are neglecting about the mail app? What gesture do you want added?
