Of age and consenting does not equal willingness or a lack of
explorationexploitation. There was a victim who has done some interviews, she was of age, and one could argue she did consent. But she was heavily pressured. She found herself being brought to the island by a girl she was on a modeling shoot with. I can’t remember all of the details but essentially she was made to feel like participation was expected and everyone just did it. Eventually this led to a relationship where she was trafficked to other men.Hearing her speak, she sounded like she felt obligated. And when she didn’t return calls or other communications, they would escalate to harassment levels of contact.
The women who were of age were still kids. I think about where I was at 25, I didn’t know shit. An 18 y/o newly on her own, in a place she’s never been, without close friends or family, could easily be exploited.
