The blog (and its audio version, the Better Offline podcast) is very good indeed - somewhere between cathartic and revelatory at all times. I’m overjoyed to hear you liked it, but it sure can be wordy. I pay for the premium newsletter, but I find myself skimping on it… But re-reading and referring to chunks of it often.
This simply means they’ve finally run out of money. If that doesn’t help, Apple or Microsoft will just end up buying OpenAI for pennies.
II think Microsoft is in a position where they can grab all of OpenAI’s assets without giving them (more) money, if I understand the deal right
