We’re trying to rewatch Invasion now that it’s concluded (or cancelled). First season is heavy going, lots of parallel plots that only slowly intertwine if at all, and not necessarily so much happening in every episode.
Next will be a For all mankind rewatch to be fully prepped for the upcoming season 5. Let’s see if we can time it so we can binge the new episodes without a week’s wait in between…
What’s your favorite episode so far and why is it episode 4 and 5 combined?
Definitely those two. Ep. 4 and the Klingon’s space play-fight with the Federation over the planet so they could “conquer” it was as adorable as it was believable. After 900 years, losing their homeworld, and nearly going extinct, they still hold on to their code of honor which is the only thing they really have left. Incredibly well done.
As for ep 5, I always shed a tear of happiness when a later series revisits DS9.
