The US understood the Donbass conflict, they helped kick start it to lead it into war.
the us government surely did; but americans do not and that’s what the article is saying.
I think Ritter misses that the US could never willingly allow Russia to develop, it’s just too important for controlling Asia (and the Eurasian Peninsula), so its elite will hallucinate politicians into existence who launch a search for the Holy Grail & a failed blitz into Russia
Begrudgingly upvoted for #propagandamaxxing, however it’s basically Ritter’s job to convince Russians that, no, the US doesn’t follow an imperialist interest (intl. ruling class + allied bourgeois-ified workers, who are dependent on stolen labor hours & hoarded technology rather than organized growth of production), it follows its national interest but is corrupted by some individuals, particularly the ruling classes of countries like Ukraine & Israel through their joint business dealings that are synonymous with mutual Epstein-style blackmail. I mean there are dozens of other prerequisites here besides the US sprouting another head and developing a conscience. This is deceptive, it’s not a change of heart the US needs to have. It is a complete political, industrial, & financial overhaul. All of its institutions are designed to produce Wars in Ukraine (it is Zelenskyis all the way down dawg) or “opposition” like Ritter, or people who just stand around doing nothing.
Regardless of whatever purpose this serves in Ritter’s own mind, he is very useful to the US, as were Trump’s antics, for convincing the Kremlin that the US will be willing to accept real concessions, wake up one day, have a change of administration, & get out of the quagmire, start doing mutualistic development. The US relies on a tiered system of nations, it needs quagmires & backwards nations to survive. It will never accept concessions in its current state.
Always look at the form of action people prescribe to deal with a problem they claim to have diagnosed (they’re usually not the first & doing it worse).
