I’m a conservative and I hate liberals.

I’m an Australian anarchist and I want to return to the good old days of the Aboriginal gift economy and traditional land management. I hate neoliberals for supporting capitalism.

It’s more like conservatism isn’t a coherent ideology; it’s just nostalgia for the good old days fueling reactionary support for entrenched power structures. In places where rhese entrenched power structures are liberal conservatism is liberal; in places where they’re not it’s not.

In a country, where “good ol’ times” can’t really be characterized as times of liberal democracy - conservatives usually won’t be liberals.
