Saw an article posted about Tim Cook calling the launch of Apple Maps his first big mistake which reminded me of this.

Gives me fond memories of the early days when Google maps would tell you to jet ski across the South China Sea from the Philippines to Vietnam or kayak across the Pacific Ocean from California to Hawaii 😄
In less funny news, Google Maps once told me to walk onto a freeway off-ramp.
Cook added: “Now we’ve got the best map app on the planet”

So there was no on-ramp there but AppleMaps decided there was?
There is an onramp, the directions are just poorly worded.
