Experience the first-ever open world Star Wars™ game and explore distinct locations across the galaxy, both iconic and new. Risk it all as scoundrel Kay Vess, seeking freedom and the means to start a new life.
This game was legitimately amazing, I feel bad it got such a lukewarm reception on release. I would have loved to see more of it.
No force powers. No Jedi. No greater political intrigue. Just scrappy individuals with a good blaster at their side, trying to survive and make their way through the galaxy. The title described the game perfectly, I really felt like a outlaw just living in the Star wars universe. And the settings felt so ALIVE! Like sure, the NPC’s during combat were pretty generic and unimpressive, but simply walking through a city or a cantina felt SO engaging! You could just hang out and listen to random NPC’s having full on conversations. It’s also simply gorgeous, the level design really made you feel like you were a part of the SW universe.
There are a few minor flaws, and I wouldn’t say it’s an absolutely perfect 10/10 game, but it’s pretty high up there for me. In fact, I’d argue it might be best Star Wars game out there. If all you care about is force powers, and lightsabers, and Jedi, this one probably isn’t for you. But if you like literally any other part of Star Wars, this game knocks it out of the fucking park.
