That can’t be true, Kissinger has to have bombed another peace prize recipient at some point

No way, he’s gotta at least be the second. Kissinger won a nobel prize, and so did the red cross, and you can’t tell me Kissinger never bombed the red cross.

The US government is corrupt no matter what party. Some politicians are worse than others, but most are in it to gain power and money. Representing the people has long been tossed aside.

Obama has always acted like him being elected was enough. He got elected, and then spent the next 8 years doing what the Republicans wanted.

Wow. It’s like you weren’t there, since that’s not what happened at all. Stymied at almost every turn, hounded by birthers and tea partiers, it was an absolute slog. He barely got the smallest start on Obamacare and it was disparaged before, during and every moment after he did.

There was a period from '09-'10 when he could have basically done whatever he wanted. Democrats controlled the government and Obama came in on a wave of popular support after Bush was blamed for crashing the economy. Instead of bringing about the change he promised, though, he allowed himself to be stopped and chose compromise instead of change.

Then the Republicans took back their lost seats in 2010 because he lost support for his compromises.

And yet it turns out he could have just executive-ordered the whole thing on day 1, or get the literal military to fund & admin it, or not wear that tan suit that caused him bad PR, poor dude.

I feel he will be more remembered for activating a generation of stupid, pliable people afraid of black men to vote against their interests so they don’t feel as impotent as they just proved to be with their own action.
