And there’s also homophobia present in a lot of anti furry sentiment.

You’d be surprised. I’ve even encountered a lot of gay people who are against the ‘T’ or the ‘BT’ in LGBT.
Being gay certainly makes you more likely to be progressive, but I’ve learned it definitely doesn’t guarantee it.
