I have once again ended up starting lots of stuf, don’t know why I do that.

Playing Yoshi and the Mysterious Book! Almost done with the second world, though I’ll need to get back to 100% all the stages.

I try to explore as much as I can, and after reaching the end, go back again to see if I have missed anything. When I can’t find anything new even after exploring for a bit, I finish the level, even if I have something obvious like the flowers missing. For now, I am not going back into the level, even when it shows me hints for missing stuff, will come back to do these all after finishing the game.

Also, some of the stuff is really well hidden, how are you all faring with it?

Played more of Fallout 4. Wanted to explore all the upper area before reaching Diamond City, but when I reached near eastern end of the map saw a Deathclaw moving around so ran away quickly.

Have finally reached the city and taking care of all the quests given by the people there, quite a change of pace after wandering around the wilderness for so many hours.

Finished the third chapter of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition!

Chapter 3 spoilers

A double murder!

Last week I replied to De_Narm saying I think Hori might be the spy, he feels too innocent, and it turns out he is the prime suspect this time around!

I figured out who the actual blackened is thoug, but only because Sakura explained the whole case again.

This chapter also put some more doubt on Kyoko, but I think it’s too obvious, so I am not going to think she is the spy. Also going to rule out Hiro now.

I have played very little of Chapter 4, my thought until now:

Chapter 4 spoilers

I think there are some other shenanigans going on. Like all the students are clone or something, and the real versions were all students of Hope’s Peak Academy and knew each other.

Started Sackboy: A Big Adventure with my little one. I played a few of the starting levels some time back but couldn’t get into it at a time. We have only played one level yet but it was fun playing in co-op. Let’s see how long it holds her interest.

Also started Arc Raiders. I am not really a big multiplayer guy, but some of the friends were interested in the game so got it. It’s my first extraction shooter, and we are mainly focusing on the PvE aspect, instead of PvP. Actually even PvE is only when we need specific resources or have missions regarding those.

It was going good, had some upgraded gear, met many friendly players, then in last game some raiders attacked and killed our team, lost everything. It was pretty annoying. I’ll probably keep playing it with friends, but this is definitely not a genre that I like.

No Pokémon Pokopia this week. Will probably get back to it after finishing Yoshi.

What about all of you? What have you been playing and/or plan to play?

    Finished Octopath Traveler II!

The final stretch using all characters together within the story and allowing you to swap them at any time was the best part of the game by far. The final boss was quite epic and even had a cool new mechanic!

Sadly, the hidden final boss was none of that. It’s one of those ‘wiki bosses’ you’ll usually only beat by looking up either just a guide or lists of all available abilities and pieces of equipment and where to find them. I didn’t feel like doing hours of prep work.

Overall, I did enjoy the game a fair bit more than the first one, but Octopath is still leagues behind Triangle Strategy and Bravely Default in my personal ranking. Still, anything by Team Asano is at least good. (Well, maybe except for Various Daylife, but I never played it myself. Someday on sale, perhaps.)

    More Danganronpa!

Still enjoying the game, but I think the class trials could be a tad shorter. They can also be somewhat frustrating, I died twice testing every single combination in an argument, simply because I didn’t know or forgot about being able to carry absorbed arguments into the next cycle. Luckily, you don’t have to repeat the whole thing when running out of hearts.

    Finished Chapter 3

Oh boy did Taka change indeed. I still liked him, but when I couldn’t spend time with him, I knew something was up. He will be missed.

Also, I’m glad the laptop got brought up. I was actually wondering about the missing laptop in the last chapter and somehow nobody brought it up.

Going into the class trial, I knew Hifumi was both victim and offender, but I actually thought a second Robo was involved - controlled by the 16th student: the AI. Although, a few minutes into the trial the actual blackened was obvious.

I’m with slimerancher on this, I also came to the clone conclusion. The dusty letter in the library and the photos strewn around make me think they just collected DNA of all the students, and now they make them kill each other for entertainment. This would offer up another explanation about Junko being so popular - maybe she’s also in later entries?

Also, the big machine in the physics lab could be for cloning, I guess. I’m certain it will be involved somehow.

Just found the Chapter 4 victim

It’s starting to get lonely. I’m curious to see what happens once we have only 3 people left. At that point, we don’t have enough of us to ‘discover’ a body and the trial would be pointless, too. I’m guessing something is going to happen at either 5 or 4 students left.

Anyways, I guess the AI isn’t the 16th student? The luchador guy was either the final student, the headmaster or both.

Now for the worst part, Sakura, my favourite, was both the spy and the next victim. I haven’t investigated anything yet, but the obvious theory would be assisted suicide. She let Hina poison her to make her the winner. However, that doesn’t work with the head wound in the Monokuma files. Probably a setup to make us antagonize Hina?

Next up is 13 Sentinels! Actually my last game on the backlog, discounting Nioh 2 (lent out my PS4) and stuff on Steam I’ve had for almost a decade (I was waiting for the crypto craze to die down before buying a modern PC, then AI happened…).

Yeah, bad time for getting a new PC, but there is only so long you can delay these things.

      Chapter 3 stuff

Ah, I didn’t even notice I couldn’t spend time with him. My current strategy is to spent time with someone I haven’t spent with before, so didn’t even look for Taka.

Oooh, AI as 16th student, that might be interesting. And I did think there would be 2 Robos, but they made it clear that only Hiro can wear the suit.

Haven’t found the chapter 4 victim yet, so will read that later.

        Chapter 3

Yes, only Hiro would fit into the suit. But I thought maybe the robot was additionally remote controlled by the AI while he was in there sleeping. Maybe a wild theory, given that we saw the construction material being cardboard and plaster.

Playing the 1.7 uodate in Arma Reforger. It’s a hot mess. I felt experimental wasn’t nearly this bad. Playing as the FIA is such a fun way for both sides to keep them on their toes (unless both sides team up to do a “fox hunt” on FIA)

Also playing Monster Hunter Rise. Long time on and off fan. Wasn’t crazy about World, but Rise simplied a ton of thing that made MH get old really fast. I love how other larger monsters can come into a monster you are fighting and “help” out.

Nice. I don’t have a long history with MH series, but I like the game. Planning to start MH: Rise soon, once I finish some other games in my queue first.

I just started playing Pokemon Legends Arceus (renting it from a local library!!!), and it seems kind of cool. I haven’t gotten too far into many games in the Pokemon series but based on what I’m hearing it sounds like something new, so ueah

I really only played Yoshi’s Mysterious PhD on Behavioral Biology and I can’t believe how much this game is exactly what I expected. I was worried I overhyped it for myself but whoever created the original trailer apparently did a banger job explaining it. I’m halfway through the second world right now, but I also make sure to complete every level. Usually the silhouette hints are enough, sometimes I need to buy a hint and once I had to actually look something up. I hope there’s a level on the seagull enemies at some point, those were my favorites in Yoshi’s Island and they seem versatile enough to be featured here.

You are much better at this than I am. I haven’t even got all the flowers in some of the levels. Though, as I am playing more levels I seem to be getting better at it.

Truth be told, I don’t even notice most flowers. I paid extra attention today and most flowers are directly tied to research, so I just end up picking them up and a minute later I won’t remember where I got them.

Hopefully some more Bubsy 4D on Switch 2 and Top Gear Rally 2 on Analogue 3D this weekend. I received the physical version of Disney Afternoon Collection for Switch today, so I’ll try to play some of that too. I played most of these games already when I was a kid. I had Chip N’ Dale (but lost it) and own Duck Tales on the NES (played the remaster on Wii U too). The rest I either rented or played at friends’ houses, so it’ll be fun to go back to replay them and see how many I can finish.

Disney Afternoon Collection looks pretty great. I have played most of them too, but I don’t think I have finished any of them. Will probably pick them up on some sale.

I think it’s definitely worth it. I played and finished Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2. It’s pretty short, I think it took just about an hour. I also played a bit of Goof Troop and Bonkers. I had never played Bonkers before and for a Capcom game, it’s a bit disappointing.

Reading your Danganronpa comments and theories is always fun. :)

    Finished Yoshi’s Crafted World!

Got 100% of the “Main Game” content, but don’t think I’ll do the post-game stuff.

This game is quite good, but I really wish it would stop trying to make you replay the same stages multiple times. In fact, the main reason I don’t feel like doing the post-game is because it asks you to go through all stages yet again to find a hidden thing in each of them.

Haven’t started any game after this, but might pick up Mina the Hollower later today.

      Hehe, thanks.

Yeah, replaying stages multiple times can be a bit annoying, that’s why after spending a good amount of time in each of them I am just moving to next one. Don’t want to get burned out.

What happened to Witch on the Holy Night? Dropped it? Or finished it, and I just missed that?
