    Slightly changing the meme:

Lemmy the only place where well-articulated sentences still get misinterpreted. You can say “I don’t like pancakes” and somebody will say “So you love waffles?” Dats a whole new sentence. Wtf is you talkin about.

Ok??? Because two demons are fighting for a seat at the devils table we shouldn’t point out that the one the so-called leftists hope will be on their side and is supportive of the resistance to genocide is in fact a demon and that the whole thing is a sham?

The primary was not him vs. collins. You brought her up. She’s not the candidate that’s supposed to be in my party. Even though I don’t live in Maine if he claims to be a socialist I will hold him accountable. The Republican candidate does not claim socialist politics

He is now and He was the only viable candidate against colins. Democratic socialism is probably a pretty good path to save our democracy realistically.

So when I focus on his faults, as a leftist, I will tell you most serious organizations would not let someone like Platner provide any lip service whatsoever. When you talk about material praxis that’s one thing, when you talk elected bourgeois officials it’s another. Graham himself isn’t necessarily the issue, it’s that the message is popular but the candidates are still controlled by the DNC, which always goes as hard as it can AGAINST real socialist policy.

So when you see “endorsed by Bernie, Chuck Schumer, Elizabeth Warren, etc.”: That’s exactly the problem, they’re no different than the establishment dems, which are pretty much diet “Susan Collins” anyways. Schumer & Elizabeth Warren are cracking $700k in AIPAC donations themselves combined. Just saying these democrat politicians aren’t your friend.

I’d rather have a million zohran’s to criticize than this weird ass woman abusing military freak.

I like him and most political organizations are corrupted. My dad was a green beret from Vietnam, my uncle was a marine from Vietnam (both democrats) so I know the reality of dealing with this type of trauma. I think he’s earned a chance and I think this character assassination is being funded by big money and quite obviously AIPAC. We need people to stand up to the Israeli lobby and the traitors they have infiltrated our government with and I think they are afraid. This whole psyop reminds me of when we were supposed to believe that Iran killed 30,000 protesters in two days without any evidence but we were also told to believe that only 70,000 people were killed in Gaza with three years of continuous carpet bombing and starvation. I don’t buy any of it and we need someone like him to go to Washington and stand up to all this corruption. I’m sick of this shit. Everyone is sick of this shit. Colins needs to go back to her crypt

That’s the thing here my friend, I don’t think voters are listening. It’s not AIPAC attacks that people like me don’t like: It’s the veteran thing. The reality is is that your uncle and father are likely grappling with witnessing and/or directly committed war crimes for America. My grandfather did in Korea as well and reading about our actions in Korea, I am very very disgusted at what my grandfather was doing there.

Your father and uncle should spend their time educating people on the horrors of US imperialism and directly addressing how they condemn their own actions in Vietnam. They should study how the US has spent not only billions of dollars but millions of lives fighting Communism and it’s made the world a worse place. Not only fighting against socialism but also fighting civilians to extract resources using violence, and my life and your life in America directly benefit from that. My grandpa who passed in 2010 and your father/uncle should (or should have) be doing that & not be running for office. Is that something that makes sense?
