I’ve been seeing chatter about nvme drives with shitty relabeled chips, and SMART reporting that is nothing but 🐂 💩. There’s more unreliable fake garbage out there than ever, and you can’t buy direct from any OEM because they only sell to Altman anymore.
There’s 2TB NVME drives on Amazon for less than the price delta. Worth it
