Star Trek: Strange New Worlds co-showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers revealed that a Doctor Who/Star Trek crossover spent years in discussions.
That was my immediate thought after reading the headline… Which showrunners? Neither franchise has any upcoming show to run.
But I think Pelia’s call out is enough of a crossover. A wink. I think you could do something similar with The Doctor, call out something like space whales and you’ll be good.
