    Yeah, I think we’re in full agreement.

    I guess the part that kinda annoys me is that the common advice is “use deodorant” and not “try going for a walk and eating a carrot”. This ties into the many issues I see in industrialized society being caused by shortcuts. Yeah, smearing yourself in deodorant fixes the problem for today, but the underlying issue will be worse tomorrow. I guess there’s no profit in worrying about tomorrow.

      Oh, true, especially antiperspirants.

      My main thing is they should still at least shower, not necessarily use a ton a deodorant. Still just basic hygiene. I don’t think either of us would go straight to a convention or such after camping in the woods for a month for example lol. And that’s still not as bad as sitting all the time with a less than ideal diet in probably the same clothes often.
