      No, we already know that most of the production will go to Chinese datacenters.

      The mandate formalizes a policy trajectory already underway. Beijing introduced a requirement in August 2025 that data centers source at least 50% of chips locally.

      With the demand, that 50% requirement likely means almost all of the Chinese domestic production for quite some time. And the mandate will most likely rise to 100% as soon as Chinese domestic production can cover it.
