My mom was trying to get her GED in the 90’s. She failed, but I found one of her essays in the storage shed once. It was about how 1-900 numbers are bad for society because her nephew ran up a $200 phone bill using one.

Normalizing these kind of choices and creating a supportive, reasonable environment that also has mechanisms to prevent abuse is the rational, normal response. You can really see how judeo-christian values continue to dominate the world.
Want to give someone pleasure physically with your body? Massage therapy is noble, prostitution is bad. Want to have sex for money? No if you’re not recording it, yes if you are.
I’m not, like, affirming all choices for all things or whatever, but we really need to get over some shit in a lot of cultures in this world.
