Can’t tell you how disappointed I am that isn’t just a chart of increasingly tubby kittens.

Surgery isn’t the only solution, there are medications, like Finasteride, that actually prevent hair loss by blocking the hormone that causes it. But some people do just have thick gorgeous manes their whole life without help.
I am very bothered that the stock photo is someone smelling tulips, which have no smell.
Halloween is just one day/night. Spooky Season runs from early September to the beginning of November or whenever people get around to taking down their Halloween decorations. Also, it’s cute and fun.
So you’re saying that… video killed the radio star…?
Two teachers at my high school got married and both of them changed their full names. They chose a last name to share- after a saint they both resonated with, and each chose new first and middle names. They felt it marked the new chapter in their lives, that as they became one, they were both new people. They were both the young, cute, cool teachers that everyone had crushes on so we all thought it was super creative and cool.
I used to know someone who drove one almost like this. It was a RAV4 though. He was a swole short stack with bouncy blond curls who was always laughing and flirting and the car fit his personality to a T.
If you’re ever feeling too confident in your appearance, go through the Target self check and watch yourself on the screen. I’m a pretty normal looking person, but goddamn… not at the Target self check. Maybe people steal less when they feel bad about themselves…?
Gestation? They will birth the peanuts?
https://www.petmd.com/dog/nutrition/can-dogs-eat-peanuts (answer: yes, but raw peanuts can have mold, so cooked is better. They are a high fat, “sometimes treat”)
There is no ink involved, the spores make the print.

Why all the downvotes? I guess “twilight zones” is a little click baity, but it’s just an article about the little understood geology of Earth’s lower mantle. It’s neat, I think.
John Scalzi’s got you covered:

Oh that. I’m fortunately sheltered enough (by choice and hard work) from the evil talking heads that this didn’t come to mind.
Hopefully the NGR will elbow that horrible woman out of first place for recognition of this name.
Is there a controversy about Nancy Grace Roman that I haven’t heard about? I’m very excited about this telescope and very excited that it’s named after her.
Well, this technique doesn’t harm the cane toads, except the few that are used as bait. It lets them live alongside the crocks without killing them, that’s kinda nice.
This is really neat.
This is a good ruling. Weird title. The first judge this case was brought before said that they couldn’t claim sexual assault, only medical malpractice because they were seeking medical care when it happened.
This ruling says sexual assault is sexual assault, even in the context of a doctor’s appointment. You wouldn’t think we need to clarify that, but here we are.
Medical malpractice suits are almost never successful, so being free to get out from under that umbrella is progress. Sad that this is still only a civil case, I would want a criminal case as well. He deserves prison and not just a fine.
Oh dear.
So… all species?
I live in the Bay Area and there are like 5 of them in my small, rural town, so I see them daily. I laugh every time. As silly as they look in photos, it’s just so much sillier in real life. Especially out in the county where I live.
