Seems overdue but I notice they don’t mention how likely it is to pass. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if this becomes law.
I’m somewhat surprised that the entire article doesn’t mention Starship.
You can create a town with less than 300 votes? TIL.
I’ll give you 5 bees for a quarter.
We yet cling to the hope that it is not naïve to believe our good brethren in the Executive Branch perceive the rule of law as vital to the American ethos,” he wrote. “This case presents their unique chance to vindicate that value and to summon the best that is within us while there is still time.”
Why the fuck would anyone believe these turds believe in the rule of law? It’s contrary to everything that’s happened since 2016.

Tomorrow’s headline:

Spout nonsense with enough confidence and you can wield unimaginable power. Am I talking about LLMs or president poopy pants?
“Stand With Tesla.” Musk reposted it to his massive audience, but the sentiment didn’t prevent him from losing $23 billion the following day.

This is an exciting discovery! 20 light years away is relatively close, but obviously still out of reach for quite a while.
People who stand in the way of this type of thing are be risking jail and death.
Don’t they have paid firefighters for the rich and volunteers for everyone else? I think I remember hearing about Oprah’s property being protected first when Hawaii was burning last. I would expect something similar in California. Money talks.
Mom, the quantum resonator is out of phase again!
Just give it two grapes, dear.
Yeah, the headline is true but wages need to rise to do anything about it, short of UBI which I personally think is unlikely in the US. I think we obviously need a new minimum wage that a person can actually live on, but I would take it a step further. I think it should be tied to market cap. In other words, the bigger the corporation, the higher their minimum wage bracket becomes. This would give some advantage to small, community owned businesses too.
