Elon Musk is done at DOGE, but we’re just getting started.

Elon is still deeply tied to the Trump regime, still fueling conspiracies and fascist rhetoric, and still using his immense wealth to warp government policy and buy elections around the globe.

On June 28—Elon’s birthday—let’s celebrate everything we’ve achieved and a recommit to the long fight still ahead.

And our birthday gift to the Broligarch in Chief? A global party with one powerful message: Musk Must Fall.

I hate I have a birthday in the same millennium. All these <26 year olds with their youth, and a 2 at the start of their birth year!

They’ll never know the glory of the 90s!

They’ll never know what it was like to grow up in a pre-digital world!

They’ll never know what it was like in an airport before 9/11!

I never knew what it was like in an airport before 9/11 because I only flew for the first time last week but my point still stands!

And as for the rest of you millennials! Remember Dexter? This is him now! Feel old yet?

If you’re looking for someone else famous who might actually be worth celebrating today, try Mel Brooks, born this day in 1926.

Even if Tesla drops Musk as CEO to appease public opinion, he’ll remain on the board of directors, because he owns so much of the stock.

I urge you to (while ignoring the Pink Floyd theme) read https://welcometothemachine.co/ to understand how we can’t strip billionaires of power by attacking the companies they are associated with. Because, they all own each other’s companies, they all sit on each other’s boards, they’re all in bed together. Musk doesn’t only own big parts of Twitter, Tesla, and SpaceX, but many other big corporations as well. They all do.

So he’s still making money off it then. We can still stigmatize the brand and cut where it hurts all of the parties associated - their profits. Shame upon anyone still buying Tesla.

the point was to say we need complete and total systematic change. while small things are fine in the short term, long term solutions need to be implemented.

pretending they are saying we should just sit back and remain a cog is disingenuous.
