Im really not sure of where she is going here other than how assholish the current administration is. I think the snap changes just went through more officially just making it a corporate wage reduction benefit rather than a benefit to feed people.
Crazy idea, if the capitalists paid their taxes we wouldn’t be stuck with the bill. Better yet if we got rid of the capitalists many government assistance programs wouldn’t be nessesary because housing and utilities wouldn’t be commodities to be sold.
I think the punchline is that if we don’t pay for it as a tax we will pay for it as a society. And the rich will go live far from the problem and insist that it isn’t fair that they have to pay for other people’s problems. Tax the rich, solve all the problems.
