The same principle applies to fascists who say they are not fascists despite doing fascist things. Don’t try to discredit their statement word by word; just cut to the chase and discredit their broad worldview with more terse responses. You are letting them play you by nitpicking minutae of their bad faith arguments.

Also, they get very very angry if anyone calls them fascists, because that’s not fair, and also you are the fascist in fact
