I love 90s Trek as much as anyone, but does anyone in the 32nd century ever stop and wonder why so much of the history anyone ever cares about occurred in the relatively short (and ancient by then) timespans of 2256–2293 and 2364–2379?
Like, the “Wall of Heroes” or whatever it’s called really shouldn’t be 90% people we’ve heard of before.
You don’t think the mysterious disappearance of a war hero who was also entangled with non-linear, godlike beings would be interesting?
Of course I do, and I love DS9 so I’m excited for this, but also, I’m sure lots of other interesting stuff also happened in the intervening 800 years.

Ds9 would be completely insignificant that far in the future
Earth has been known to keep Starbase 1 around for centuries and that space station has nowhere near the historic significance as Deep Space 9 did for Bajor.
I doubt it would have been kept as the space station serving the Bajoran wormhole, but I could see it kept in the system preserved as a historic ship.

You’re talking about the sacred home of The Emissary of The Prophets. I wouldn’t be shocked if they kept the place around just so Bajorans could go there to pray for his return.
It depends on if the station survived that long bring operational and if it survived the Burn.
I doubt that DS9 would be the main station serving the Bajoran wormhole even if it was preserved.
DS9 ran on fusion power, so in theory there wouldn’t have been any dilithium in use (though the same couldn’t necessarily be said for docked or orbiting ships).
But I tend to think the station itself should be gone by now, unless they decided to preserve it for historical reasons or something.
It’s only sitting next to a portal to the other side of the galaxy that also happens to be the home of a species that exists outside of linear time - nothing significant there!
Let me guess: the protagonist would be an until now unknown but close Sisko relative that behaves very much unlike a career Starfleet officer.

They seem to be tailoring the SFS previews for the social media crowd, with no “standard” formatting.
I suppose you could argue it’s targeting a specific audience, but…it’s weird.
