minus-squaretyler@programming.devlinkfedilinkarrow-up27arrow-down1·5 hours agoYeah if you turn off the laugh track this show is terrible, for so many reasons.
minus-squareHideakikarate@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up18arrow-down1·5 hours agoLike how Ross from “Friends” is crazy without the laugh track.
minus-squarePsythik@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up9arrow-down1·3 hours agoAlso, Friends just isn’t funny. Every character except Phoebie is bland and unlikable.
minus-squareExcessShiv@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkarrow-up5arrow-down2·3 hours agoPhoebe is just annoying and unlikable
minus-squarehopesdead@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·1 hour agoI wonder if the big issue is tying their twin to the show Mad About You.
minus-squareHellfire103@lemmy.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12arrow-down1·5 hours agoThere’s your problem. Just keep the laugh track on and it stays funny. Same deal with Friends and also a fair amount of standup.

minus-squarehopesdead@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkarrow-up3arrow-down2·edit-21 hour agoThis show had a character that physically could not speak to women without being intoxicated. I think they eventually created a pharmaceutical drug to resolve this. EDIT: As for Friends, there was a lot of fat phobia and gay panic.
