america will get over the fact that cuba discovered a better economic system than capitalism.
So after reading that does it seem so far fetched that the CIA could have planned/funded/executed 9/11?
The kind of sick minds to propose this and then seriously consider it is beyond me. Truly depraved and without morals.
All to overthrow a foreign government because they might harm America’s economic interests.
If a communist government has that massive of an effect on the US economy, maybe the US economy should change how it economies.
It is all just the rhetoric for power and control. Countries claim communism or democracy but the reality is they are often not what they claim at all.
The older I get the easier it is to see it is all just excuses and lies. The whole world is fascist and policies are all that really matter. The rest is just propaganda.
That’s what they were up to as early as the 1960s. By the late 90s they learned not to leave a paper trail.
Israel did the same thing to us in the 1960s to goad us into a war with Egypt https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident
Goes back a lot further than the 1960s, all the way back to the founding of the United States. For a pre-60s example, you might also be interested to learn about the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, if you haven’t already heard of that.
The CIA is basically a rogue agency.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff were also on board with the plan. The problem is unfortunately deeper than just the CIA.
Plans were rejected by JFK in 1962. Hmmm I wonder what happened to him the next year or so…
These proposals were rejected by John f Kennedy, a Democrat
Yeah - JFK was more than happy to commit acts of terrorism against Cuban people, but he drew the line at Americans. Great example of the difference between Democrats and Republicans.
Aw you’re right. Golly, I hate democrats so much! I’m going to vote red down the ballot this November. Thanks for clearing that up for us!
Woof…
I don’t understand this logic. Democrats are corrupt, genocidal and evil. If your worldview prevents you from publicly admitting this even if you silently agree, then how can you ever fight for a better future?
Obviously just because the Democrats are evil that doesn’t mean you should vote for the more evil party. You should recognize that Democrats aren’t the solution to the problem and look for some alternative pathway to real, long-term change. Don’t shoot the messenger.
I don’t see a solution where we don’t change the democratic party but I will say that most canidates I voted for did not win but its not all bad. Kat came very close to defeating biss which is historic in its own way given how young she was and how much of an established party guy he was. For senate we have stratton which I feel is better than the initial front runner but my real progressive pick was kelly. People need to realize how important the primaries are. ugh hynes won over kagi for comptroller. I saw a lot of twisting of situations to try and take back progressive winners from before back to machine party type of canidates. incumbent kept his state congressional seat in my area unfortunately to.
If our elections are not free and democratic, what makes you think the primaries are?
I don’t believe our elections are not free and democratic they just have a process that favors a two party system and people are easily manipulated. I mean my mind is blown by how aweful the typical politcal ad is and most will turn me more off to the canidate than get me to vote for them but unfortunately I believe the average person is nothing like me. I mean I don’t want everyone to be like me but I would not mind if most people had a greater level of cognitive ability. Sure it would make me an idiot relatively but it would greatly increase the intelligence of our societies. I do believe citizens need to realize how important and precious our system is under the constituiton and how bar none our biggest issue currently is the constitution being violated as a matter of policy (as opposed to single individual one time events which is as unavoidable as any other one single individual one time crime ).
Do you think that a candidate with a campaign backed by billion-dollar donors would have the same access to democracy as a grass roots candidate self-financing their campaign through working class donors? Or that a candidate backed by the mainstream media would be as likely to win as a candidate who is smeared by the mainstream media?
That’s what I mean by free and democratic - that each candidate has a fair shot of winning based on their policy platform and messaging alone.
There are lots of good Dems. I bet Bernie wouldn’t have authorised that.
And yet, despite having more popular support than Clinton, he did not win the nomination in 2016, which led to the first Trump presidency. Why do you think that was?
Fair. He should have joined PSL.

Bernie sanders is literally not even a democrat.
Then what’s your solution? It sounds like you’re just being antagonistic to everyone and making noise. Please lead with concrete strategy NOT idealism. The reason the “evil” parties are in power is because they have concrete solutions which can be implemented immediately and you have only theory.
The only solution is a social revolution, which is what I advocate for. Of course, I don’t have all the answers, no one does, but I would propose building a worker-led movement similar to the Black Panthers - many people aren’t aware of this, but the Black Panthers actually provided a variety of what they called “survival services”, such as The Free Breakfast For Children program, clothing distribution, classes on politics and economics, free medical clinics, lessons on self-defense and first aid, transportation to upstate prisons for family members of inmates, an emergency-response ambulance program, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and testing for sickle-cell disease.
We also need to form a solid structure of industrial unions and workers co-operatives, so that we can provide goods and services to the working class without the need for the state’s currency or hierarchical structure. Once we have unionized enough industries, we will no longer need the state, and it can be allowed to atrophy and die. It is likely that the ruling class will not allow this to happen without a fight, so we will also need to defend our new society from them. I’d recommend reading an Anarchist FAQ for more information and joining the IWW, as well as getting involved in activist activities in your area.

I am hoping america falls and we get to know what shit CIA have done for a century now
What we do know is chilling already. We would probably discover countless targeted assassinations of US and other citizens around the world. Ongoing torture and support of pedophile rings is just the start honestly.
False flag is a common stategy many countries use to justify imperialism
Wouldn’t be the first time.
But they tried everyone involved with treason, right? Right?
Found Descartes’ alt.
tried everyone with reason
Majority of wars started by the US started Like this. Is anyone studying history? Are you seriously surprised by this? Why is this even top secret, anyone reading knows
History is the closest thing we have to predicting the future and humanity is like “blah. Dates!”
People dont read… Are you surprised by that? Probably not.
I think quite a lot of young people are dopamine addicts now from their apps and attention on those apps. So even if they have free time, it goes to that…
And video games. MANY people play video games for hours, every day. Imagine what else they could be learning, or doing, in that time. When they graduate from college, they will have played hundreds, perhaps thousands, of hours of video games, and have nothing to show for it. They could have learned to play a musical instrument, or learned a language, or learned to code, or how to repair cars, or had a job, or started an online business, or a relationship with another person, or gotten in shape, or developed interpersonal communication skills, etc.
But they spent their time alone, staring at a screen, playing a game that rewards their dopamine receptors, but provides literally nothing else of value for your life.
They spent their entire childhood doing nothing but becoming solitary Dopamine addicts, while their parents allowed it. Millions of them.
Ok Dad, not like people rotted in front of TVs hours a day, that never happened.
Yup. Prior to video games no one wasted hours a day staring at the TV, or listening to the radio, or reading the newspaper, with nothing to show for it… no one talked on the phone for hours a day just to gossip with nothing to show for it… but lets lump all of that technology in together since the printing press was invented together with the evil video games and go back a bit further…
Surely back in those wonderful times no one was wasting their lives on useless things. No one drank away their day with nothing to show for it… no one sat around telling pointless stories to anyone who was bored and willing to listen. Kids didnt waste their time drawing in the sand or playing in the mud. It was nothing but hard work and learning back in the good ol days.
It’s not the same. Until fairly recently, TV only had a few channels, and most of the day it was showing stuff that no kid would be interested in - talk shows, game shows, soap operas, etc. Every afternoon, every station would show a three hour block of soap operas. EVERY station. So for that block, if you weren’t in school, you had NOTHING to watch.
So you went outside, found your friends, went on a bike ride, played a board game, or maybe just went “exploring,” just to see what you could find. I would do that MOST days as a kid.
Today, of course, you are right. Between cable and streaming, most kids have a LOT to distract them on TV, but it wasn’t always that way.
My son escaped the lure of video games, and anime, but he loves movies, so he spent a lot of time in front of the television, but he became a bonafide cinephile. He has actually been carefully curating his TV watching since he was a teen, searching out the best classic movies, and building a database of films.
Now he’s gone back to college for film studies, and his time in front of the TV, carefully watching high quality content, has put him miles ahead of his peers. His film classes often feature the prof and him having a discussion about a movie, as the rest of the class listens, and the faculty is starting to pay extra close attention to him. They’ve clearly pegged him as a future professional in their industry, because he is so obviously far ahead of every other student. And that’s because he didn’t waste his time as a teen on things like video games and social media, and actually used that time to learn something that would be useful to his future.
BTW, I didn’t push him away or toward anything, I let him choose his own path, and supported him. It was his personal choice to not play video games or do social media. He just wasn’t interested. From the time he discovered what a movie was, he was hooked.
So If he was interested in video games, you would have supported that?
Because, you are right, it’s parental failure that’s the problem.
I think your comments are a bit confusing because they mostly seems to blame the tendency for kids to enjoy the fun things, rather than feature the parent’s responsibility to regulate those things to an appropriate level.
Parental regulation in the old days was telling kids to get out of the house, and don’t come back in until whatever the next meal was. I’d leave on my bike in the morning, with no idea where I was going, so my mom certainly didn’t know. Or care. Sometimes I’d come home for lunch, sometimes not. Always home by 5 for dinner, though.
I’d leave on my bike with empty pockets, no money, no ID, no phone, no watch, nothing. If I got thirsty, I’d knock on a door and ask for a glass of water. Or the time. Sometimes a kid would knock on our door and ask for a glass of water. Or the time. And we’d give it to them. That was parental supervision in the old days.
I actually bought a video game console, and we played some. He was in Cub Scouts, and all the kids there were fanatics. They would even have Cub Scout parties where the kids would bring their consoles and favorite games to play, and he couldn’t really participate much, because he was the only kid who didn’t play video games (I was trying to get them to get together for star-watching parties with telescopes, but they all though that was dumb, including the parents. Scouts has changed a lot). So I tried to encourage him to play, just to be able to relate to these other kids.
He loved Legos, and he loved Star Wars, so I got him a Lego Star Wars game, and he played to the very end, closed it, and walked away. Didn’t ask for another one, didn’t start looking into what other games they had, etc. Just stopped. I kept playing for a while (I like shoot’em ups like Call of Duty and Medal of Honor), but I like video games too much, I could EASILY get hooked, so I generally avoid them. We still have the console in a box somewhere. I recently asked him if he wanted it, and he said No.
He’s always been self-regulating. No drugs, no smoking, no alcohol, no pregnancy scares, nothing. Always chose to hang out with other smart, mature kids (who also weren’t into video games or social media either). Hanging with him and his friends was like talking to adults. When I got around other kids his age, I would be startled at how childish they were.
He was pretty much a dream kid, I got super lucky.
Raising kids is easy. Just love what they love, and they’ll love you. And if they love you, they’ll trust you, and truly understand that you are just trying to help them stay alive, and will mostly cooperate with that agenda.
This story, through your chain of comments, has really gone off the rails from the post topic, that’s for sure.
Parents are just grateful to not be disturbed i think. They are also exhausted from their lives, working full time.
The system is designed this way, because then those people become good consumers for the corporations. They fill their emotional void with stuff the system sells. Games, movies.
And then you have the hypersexualized movies, designed so people will jerk off. There is also a reason behind all that. For Instagram, its profit motives but it goes hand in hand with what the system wants - passive consumers with no energy to change their lives for the better.
Valid. Multiple income households are often necessary today, and it isn’t just mom & dad both working, it often means second jobs or side hustles in addition to the primary jobs. It leaves kids alone a lot, and when the parents are home, they are too tired to resist.
It’s Bread & Circuses, and in the 21st century, screens provide the Circuses.
I’m assuming Trump will make up an excuse to attack Cuba now. Hell he doesn’t even need an excuse to wage war at this point.
the rapist is not who you should be worried about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Liberty_incident
Excuse? “I want it! Give it to me!” is always his “excuse.” He’s a spoiled 9 year old, and for some reason, MAGAs feel they should give him everything he demands.
MAGAs are bad parents.
Wow its almost like they wanted the twin towers. What’s a national tragedy over a for profit trillion dollar military complex and billions in oil and gas. Who cares if your expendables die that’s what they get paid for.
Exactly. You always need a war to feed the Military-Industrial Complex, so you do what you need to do to keep it humming.
People die in war, that’s just life. So if a few Americans die in the false flag attack that allows the Military to kick off a war, and feed the Military-Industrial Complex that is important because it employs so many Americans, then they are just patriotic Americans who sacrificed for the war effort. They can be proud of their sacrifice for their Nation, even if that Nation never admits it.
/S, obviously
You say its sarcasm but this is just the sad pathetic truth. Its a win win for everyone you die a patriot reinforcing the narrative.
Valid. I labeled it Sarcasm, because I recognize that some people would actually ascribe to that agenda, and I wanted to make sure that nobody thought I was on board with it.
It’s actually a win-win as it helps to keep the populace in between fear and nationalist fervor.
Just wait until you see the one being planned to justify postponing the elections.
yup, those biolabs out in vegas sure died down in the press fast, even tho it was incredibly well funded by someone with citizenship to a country who specializes in this
