Minimum is listed as 8GB. 16GB is recommended.
Not if you play modded java edition, you can get by with 8gb in your system and 4gb allocated to the game.
Windows enshittification/Bedrock edition slop is probably why they’re setting the bar so high.
I love how everybody has a different version number they think is the best.
Honest had a blast with the latest version when I played it a few months ago. It was the update they added spears. They added so much since I last played the game some 5 years ago.
My nephew just got this a month or so ago and my brother’s computer is pretty shit. It ran well enough to please a 7 year old with all the graphics turned down as low as they would go but with these new specs they would have to get a new computer to keep playing it and that is not going to happen.
Probably upgraded for Vibrant Visuals.
1.12.1 is still there with everything you could ever need.
Takes them years to add 2 new blocks, now they want to completely abandon performance too. Not that it had that much, mods take care of that.
Haven’t they been doing a lot of work to move from openGL to vulkan in order to improve performance?
