According to an affidavit written by a DPS special agent, Ozment allegedly called the Governor’s Office on the afternoon of July 25. DPS claims Ozment left the following voicemail (KXAN has redacted the profanity in the transcript provided by DPS):
“I don’t know which one of you sons of b—-es passed this motherf—ing bill to get this damn s— blocking my motherf—ing anime, but you whole a– motherf—ers need to unpass this s—. Y’all are f—ing ridiculous with your b—- a–es. My Google account says I’m f—ing over the age of 18, and your dumba– is passing these dumba– laws. I’m a f—ing stab every godd— one of you b—-es. Unlock my f—ing anime.”

“Man thinks threatening politicians is more effective than using a vpn”
Because using a VPN removes the burden of actually telling your representatives that they passed a shitty bill.
They know what they did and do not care
Yeah, you need to first damage them, then threat of additional damage to them and their immediate families will work.
The average person has no idea what a VPN even is.
Really!? But I know about VPNs
He’s apparently under 40 and capable of navigating the Internet. Very strange that he wouldn’t at least bother to look it up online or something. Presumably he had to find the phone number he called so he seems capable of finding information. It really isn’t that hard to set up a free VPN if you’re literate and have Internet access. I’m someone who regularly defends people not using Linux because it’s confusing for them, so I feel like I’m not being overly demanding here or anything. I’m pretty sure Firefox has a free one built in now. So, it might’ve been as easy as downloading Firefox and clicking a button. I’m not sure because I don’t use Firefox like that, but still.
These privileged assholes who think getting things through official channels will work and is the best solution if only they just scream about their feelings (which they inform me facts don’t care about) loud enough.
I bet he’s a straight-line Republican voter, too. And just cannot comprehend how the policies he voted for could ever affect him – it was only supposed to hurt other people!
