Hate this shit. How you act in private is your real self.
The real everyone: chronic masturbators.

If you need a reason to be nice, you’re not a nice person.
We do everything for a reason, being a nice person just depends on yours. But i don’t think having a selfish reason for a good deed makes it any less good. For instance i’m nice because it feels good to me.

How is your comment doing this?!
(Or maybe Voyager updated on me recently and it hides spoilers in a drop down now?)
Yeah Voyager supports spoilers now :)
That’s awesome, thanks!

Summit for lemmy works too!
Why are people taking this seriously?
This is c/funny, a serious place for real public discourse. There’s no funny business here! Wipe that smile off your face!
Makes sense
Cuz it makes me (and others) a little sad. :(
You should harden the fuck up.
Rude. Possibly trolling, even. This also makes me sad.
Let’s try an actual dialogue tho, rather than just me slinging declarations at you:
Let’s say someone is mean to you in real life; for the sake of brevity let’s just say that someone insults your mother without any provocation.
Is it your fault if you feel an emotional reaction, or are you just having a natural reaction to someone making your world a worse place by spreading toxicity?
And if it’s online instead of in real life, would you consider the outcomes to be different? Let’s discuss. :)
Other people don’t have the ability to make me sad. I don’t really give a flying fuck about most of them.
Hahaha so this means they are putting in a character when they’re online??
A lot of people are.
I’m putting on a character in my real life. Y’all have to put up with the real me.
It’s a very good point. Being nice is hard work. Why the fuck would anyone keep doing around the clock?
I mean look at Canadians. They’ll say sorry then pull out your kidneys with their bare hands and use them as hockey pucks or waterboard you with maple syrup.People need a place where they can be an asshole in peace.
As a theatre kid, playing the villain is way more fun than playing the hero.
