Yeah, I used to do similar stuff but it took me days. Many layers, tweaks, techniques, often just painting in with the tablet.
Won some national photography awards under digital for photo manipulation techniques. It was controversial because it wasn’t “real” photography, even though normally you’d comp the exact same techniques to “retouch” photos.
