Some men experience side effects like reduced/absent libido, depression, and other negative mental health effects. I don’t know how rare they are but to me it’s not worth the risk just for my own vanity. Sure the pharma companies deny it’s a thing but they have a clear profit motive so I don’t trust a damn word they say
Yea that’s me rn. It hasn’t hit me yet (at least not noticably) but when it does I’m just embracing it. I know there’s medication/treatment but between cost and potential side effects (as someone who already struggles with mental health the possibility of Post Finasteride Syndrome scares the shit out of me) it’s not worth it.
Plus I have a personal aversion to the idea of clinging on to youth or denying aging. Nothing against people trying to look how they want to but I’m embracing aging, it feels so much less stressful than the alternative

Seriously, it’s not even subtle, iirc literally the opening scenes of the movie say “good smart well-off people have fewer kids than bad dumb poor people”. Plus the focus on IQ and some other parts just generally make it a shitty fascist movie

I love committing voter fraud. Every election day I do a road trip and see how many times I can vote. My apartment is wallpapered in “I voted” stickers 10 deep. I am responsible for every single Bernie Sanders write-in vote in 2020.
Their method actually does make sense, you just have to remember they aren’t cops to solve (boring) crimes like petty theft. Why get it done as efficiently as possible when you can milk it for hours of overtime? 12 hours of footage means 6+ hours of overtime even watching it at x2 speed, and it’s the kind of thing you can basically have going on in the background. Cops being willfully ignorant for their own benefit makes sense to me
I’m only half joking when I credit caffeine and cannabis for helping me dodge covid all this time (that I know of, I might’ve had an asymptomatic case but every time I’ve gotten tested it’s been negative). Of course masking and living like a hermit even before covid kicked off definitely helps, but I’ll take the excuse to indulge in my favourite vices
But wait, there’s more! There’s also been a push to open it up to “mature minors” who make other decisions related to their medical care. There’s reasons I’ve been calling this a modern take on the Aktion T4 program. It’s only a matter of time before they start the open “involuntarily euthanasia” (murder) of the mentally ill, physically disabled, homeless, and any other “undesirables”. All under the guise of humanitarian compassion.
Oh it gets worse, they’ve tried to open it up to those suffering from mental illness/depression and I believe they’re planning on re-introducing it in 2024.
As someone who struggles with depression, this is terrifying. Just the thought of seeking out help from a medical professional and their response being “have you considered killing yourself?” really discourages me from having an open, honest conversation with my healthcare provider.
