I’m pretty sure if you need a crane to deploy your pog, then nobody’s gonna play with you.
You have to wait for its movement to line up and then jump it and land in the hole in the center three times.
But also you have to take care of its minions, because if their minions get king they can go back and heal it, and to make it even more difficult when the master piece is on its last life, it can respawn its minions.

But seriously: chess, but a larger grid and some pieces need multiple squares. Wouldn’t that add more strategy?
Or just blow up the scale so every piece is 45lb. Work out both the mind and body
I once thought it’d be a good idea to combine Frisbee with checkers. But no way I was going to buy that many Frisbees.

I think chess, if the board were two squares wider and you get 4 additional pawns to fill those spaces would make for a very interesting alteration of the game.
