I will never understand the love of bread and butter pickles. They’re candy sweet, but pickles. A great pickle is a tart and salty and complement to a savory meal
I’m not a complicated man, I put the sliced dill pickles on my deli meat sandwiches.
Although, I’ve also started eating a new sandwich of my own devising… Black forest ham, 2 fried eggs (I keep it all together, like an omelet), pickled jalapenos, all on a buttered everything bagel.
Just the basic zesty dills are pretty good. Not the best I’ve had, but they are the only ones out here with the super massive jar of whole pickles for like $8.
Pepperoncini. On a salad with a creamy dressing. On a hot beef sandwich. Chopped on hot dogs and brats. A lot of people like them on pizza but I’m personally not a fan.
I like their sweet relish, but especially when mixing up tartar sauce (mayo and relish at the base) or a little special sauce (tartar plus Russian dressing and either stone ground or Dijon mustard) for a Reuben.
This is probably some genetic thing like ginger tasting like a bar of soap but I always smell a moderate puke smell every time I eat one of these basic bitch pickles. Pickled jalapenos, almost zero problems.
So what Mt Olive products do you recommend I try?
Yo.

I’m not sure it’s healthy, but it’s tasty.
Great recipe trying it soon!
Their banana peppers. I didn’t know that they had this stance but I will buy more of their banana peppers because of it.
I love banana peppers so much.
I’ve been buying Mt. Olive pickles recently because they’re cheaper. It’s nice to see a company try to have some kind of backbone.
“Our company stands on values of human dignity, opportunity, and freedom,” the company said.

Wait massive 8 dollar pickle jar? Warn the grocers, there is not time to put on pants I must have one
