I respectfully disagree. Cake for dinner is one of the perks of being an adult. :)

When you’re a child, you get to eat cereal for breakfast.

When you’re an adult, you get to eat donuts.

Reminds me of an old meme that said when you’re a kid, having Mcdonalds for dinner is a victory, but when you’re an adult it’s a loss.

That’s just because your parents drill it into you that you should feel bad for essentially eating a reward when you haven’t earned it.

I had awful menstrual cramps the other day and my husband made bread pudding for dinner. It was incredible

Technically a meal has become my new favourite phrase

My mom would sometimes serve sweet pancakes for lunch. Even as a kid, I didn’t really like it - it’s tasty, but it just doesn’t fill you up well.

Don’t worry, make it to middle age and it feels great again.
