The suit was against the assistant principal of the school. I doubt the assistant principal will be capable of paying $10m, so the teacher likely won’t see any of the money. Especially if the assistant principal ends up in prison after the criminal trial.

The really fucked up part is that a 6 year old shot his teacher and I never even fucking heard about it. School shootings have become so commonplace here that the only thing that made this “newsworthy” was the $10 million.
