No shit plenty of Democrats won’t agree with a particular brand of leftism: the party is a big tent.

From the resolution text, they lump all of socialism with communism primarily Marxism-Leninism, which other socialists would also reject, and don’t acknowledge other forms of socialism.

Both of the ones from my state are from moderate conservative districts. Completely unsurprising that they won’t stick their necks out for something entirely symbolic. Though I don’t get why they can’t just abstain from a silly vote.

That is too far a disconnect. Is not bailing out banks and car companies a form of socialism? Are biological people even considered anymore? People are social animals. By extension, social endeavors should be at the top of the list. Let’s not get into the specific definitions of “political” socialism to muddy the waters. It’s all people all the time.

These people talking about the “horrors” of socialism are also clamoring to pay companies to build data centers in their districts.

As expected, my DINO is on the list. Fucking loser is worthless. I never hear about him doing anything, until it’s some MAGA-appeasing bullshit like this.

I remember being really excited about Bill Foster winning originally. I thought having a scientist in government would be a big win. Turns out scientists can also be tools.

Yep, he and Schmuck Schumer have to go. Their lack of urgency in addressing MAGA is 50% responsible for Trump’s second term.

Those 86 still be primaried by crowd-funded progressive challengers.

The others will be primaried by corporate AIPACrats with several orders of magnitude more campaign funding.

The MAGA opposition to “Socialism” only extends to Democrats. Sociopathic Oligarchs will continue to receive their re-distribution of wealth, but don’t expect your $2000 “Tariff Rebate.”

Most Democrats have their fingers in the air trying to figure out what to say to appeal to the largest number of their constituents.

Do their constituents like socialism? Are they scared of it? What will make you like me more?

They somehow still haven’t figured out that what a lot of people really want is someone to actually lead.

I get it. In one sense listening to your voters is good. But you don’t have to be so desperate about it, and you’ve gotta try to do what’s best for your people without checking to see exactly how much they might like it at every turn.

More Democrats should have called this out for the bullshit it is.
